1. About Industry-Academia Collaboration Laboratory for New Research Reactor

This laboratory is an industry-academia collaborative laboratory established based on a joint research agreement with the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), which is the main executing agency of the New Research Reactor from the detailed design phase onward.

This laboratory oversees the activities of the New Research Reactor Development and Utilization Center, which examines the experimental equipment to be installed in the New Research Reactor and the management system for promoting its utilization, and plays a central role in continuously promoting KURNS’ proactive involvement toward the startup of the New Research Reactor.
